Principal
As principal solicitor of the Firm, Ian has been in practice for over 30 years and was a clerk of Courts for some years before his admission as a solicitor.
His expansive knowledge and experience encompasses practice in business law, including sales of business and franchises, as well as wills & estates, family law, criminal law, intellectual property, contract law, employment law and general commercial law and building & property law.
He has also conducted litigation across all Court & Tribunal jurisdictions in Victoria and is a qualified mediator.

Lexie Sibilia
Paralegal
Lexie deals exclusively with Wills, Estates, Probate and Debt recovery matters. Working with our firm for over 20 years has given her a thorough and expansive understanding of the procedural and legal requirements of these areas of law.
In Wills & Estates matters, this includes handling deceased estates, filing for probate, acquiring letters of administration, making Part IV claims, and survivorship applications.
In Debt Recovery matters, this includes letters of demand, filing of proceedings, obtaining judgment and enforcement orders.

Richard Ryan
Solicitor
Richard completed a double Bachelor of Laws and Arts in 2018 and was admitted to practice in October 2019 after completing his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Richard practices predominantly in the areas of family law, property law, commercial law, and wills & estates under the guidance of Principal, Ian Cloak.
Outside of the office Richard plays football, enjoys film, and plays a lot of chess.

Tania Baptist
Paralegal
Tania deals with Conveyancing matters. Working in the legal field for over 20 years and having completed a Diploma of Conveyancing, she has a thorough understanding of contractual and statutory requirements of property and conveyancing transactions.
This includes sale, purchase and off-the-plan conveyancing, related parties’ transactions including family law transfers, acquisition and disposition by Trusts, complex Stamp Duty assessments, registration of Plans of Subdivision and lost title applications.
